WCSC is located in the Good Shepherd Center, an historic building surrounded by gardens, park, and Meridian Playground in the Wallingford neighborhood. From the front entrance of the building, enter through the lower level. WCSC is in the North end of the building.
We are west of I-5, east of SR-99, and between N. 50th St. and N. 45th St on Sunnyside Ave N.
Parking: Free parking is available in two on-site lots or on the surrounding streets.
Our WCSC Van: We are fortunate to offer some transportation support through our WCSC van program, providing rides to and from the Center for certain programs, activities and special events – on a space-available basis.
Rides must be arranged in advance. Call WCSC at 206-461-7825 or the van cell phone at 206-856-8250. The door-to-door service area is in Seattle, generally north of the Ship Canal up to the city limits at N. 145th St. A $1.50 per ride donation is suggested.
We thank King County Metro’s Community Access Transportation program for support of this program.
Hyde Shuttle: The Hyde Shuttle is a free van service for people over 55 and/or with disabilities living in Seattle. Service areas are limited. For more information, call 206-727-6262.
Metro Access Van: You must be found eligible for the ADA Paratransit Program before you can request rides. For more information, see the Metro Access Transportation Service web site, or call 206-263-3113 during normal business hours.
Find-a-Ride: FindARide.org is an online tool provided by Sound Transit that matches riders with transportation providers in the Central Puget Sound Region.
