Men’s Club – Fall Schedule

2nd & 4th Tuesdays, 2:30 – 3:30 pm

Dates: 10/9, 10/23, 11/13, 11/27, 12/11 

Join a group of guys for relaxing social conversation on a different topic each meeting. Topics will be generated by this community of Men Folk but might include things like: favorite movies and books, memories of the decades, war time stories, etc. This is an opportunity to talk, listen and share in an easy environment – it is not therapy. Stories and laughter welcome! Facilitated by Chandler Clifton, WCSC Volunteer.

$3 members, $5 public. Drop-ins welcome.

Music Appreciation: Mozart

Mixed Media Exploration at Neo Art School

Theo Chocolate Factory Tour

Travel in Time Lecture: The Silk Road and The Khazars

Join Jeff Jordan in this Travel in Time lecture focusing on the Silk Road.  We will discuss the cause and effects of trade, the ride of the Khazaria Empire, the expanding Islamic caliphate of Baghdad and the wild Rus Vikings that roamed Europe’s great rivers.

Appointments include a health interview and physical assessment, treatment of toenails, calluses, and corns, and moisturizing massage. Kindly remove polish prior to appointment. 24-hour notice for cancellation is appreciated. No foot soaks done at this clinic, no towel is needed.

Green Lake Loopers

Every Friday (Except 11/23), Rain or Shine*! 1:30pm

Stay healthy, meet new friends, and enjoy one of North Seattle’s greatest walking destinations! Walk the 2.8 mile Green Lake loop at a moderate or gentle pace. The walking group will meet outside Green Lake Church at 6350 E Green Lake Way N (cross street is Meridian) and leave promptly at 1:30 pm.

*The walk will be cancelled for weather conditions that may make walking or driving dangerous: snow, sleet, sub-freezing temperatures, etc.

Looking to hang up your car keys?  Join the North King County Mobility Coalition to discuss transportation independence, learn about driver safety resources, and explore different ways to get around Seattle without a car.  Representatives from local transportation programs will discuss recommendations for older drivers and first time transit users.  Facilitated by Melissa Brown of Hopelink.
