Join a supportive group to take steps toward putting together YOUR Personal Safety Net. This 4-week workshop with Denise Malm, Social Worker will help you prepare for that inevitable time in the future when you need support. Don’t wait until after you need it! By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a personal binder with your documentation, resources, preferences, and support system all in one place, as well as a plan of action for future steps. The workshop is limited to 10 participants; we will collect a waitlist for a future workshop.

Interested in self expression with a brush?! This fun, informative and stress-free beginner level workshop is a tour of some basic watercolor techniques. You will get to achieve realistic results with the classic techniques of wet on wet, dry brush, scumbling, and more. There will also be a variety of experimental watercolor tricks for abstract results to try out including the use of salt, alcohol, and saran wrap. As we grow older, our muscles weaken and our mobility is affected. In order to reverse this process, it’s important to engage in strength training. Both cardio and strength are important to seniors. This six-week class will address strengthening the whole body with resistance (weights), body weight, and mat work, which will help us in tasks of daily living. Warming up, stretching, and cooling down will be an integral part of class. Needed modifications can be accommodated. With Andy Hess, Certified Personal Trainer.
