We’re headed back to the Seattle Symphony! Spend some time in the Jazz Age with a musical feast of George Gershwin. We open the concert with a pianistic tour de force: the Concerto in F, then Porgy and Bess: A Symphonic Picture captures all the energy and poignancy of his opera, including Summertime and I Got Plenty o’ Nuttin’. Last but certainly not least, An American in Paris takes a musical stroll through the streets of Paris, with any homesickness banished by the city’s exuberance, the French atmosphere and the street noises. RSVPs required, $6 for members, $8 for nonmember
